How it works

RepRoom puts you in the hot seat before it counts - so the real interview feels like the tenth rep, not the first. No nerves, no judgment, just targeted feedback on every answer.

Your data is private, never sold, and deletable any time from your profile.

Four steps, start to finish

1

Upload your materials

Drop in your job description, resume, and any prep stories you've written. RepRoom reads all three and anchors every question to what's actually on the page - not generic interview prompts.
2

Build your panel

Add one or more AI interviewers - give each a name, job title, and company. RepRoom becomes that person and rotates through your panel across the session, just like a real loop.
3

Run the session

Answer out loud (tap the mic) or type. Every question is tailored to your background and the role. You can end the session any time after your first answer - no minimum length required. Interviews are powered by Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic.
4

Read your debrief

When you're ready, click “End session.” You'll get an overall score and a breakdown of every answer, part by part - what landed, what was thin, and a sharper version of each response - plus the three patterns to work on before next time. All coaching is AI-generated - treat it as a starting point, not a final verdict.

AI questions, scores, and coaching are generated automatically - use as practice guidance, not a definitive assessment.

After the session

Review every answer

See exactly how each response mapped to your chosen framework, what was strong, and where you left points on the table.

Track your sessions

Every session is saved to your history. Re-read coaching, compare scores across sessions, and watch your reps compound over time.

Re-run the same role

Sessions don't expire. Run the same JD with a different panel or a different answer framework to drill the gaps you found.

The 4 answer frameworks

Every interview answer has a structure - the question is whether yours is intentional. RepRoom scores each response component-by-component so you know exactly which part broke down, not just that something felt off. Choose the framework that fits the role and the question type.

Not every question is a story question

A framework like STAR or SOAR is built for "tell me about a time…" questions - where you tell a structured story. But a lot of interview questions aren't stories: "tell me about yourself", "why this role", "what's your biggest weakness", "explain the gap between two jobs", or "walk me through your 30/60/90 day plan". There's no Situation or Result to grade in those.

RepRoom recognises the difference automatically. Story questions get the full framework breakdown you picked. Every other question is coached on what actually makes it strong - is it clear, specific, honest, and tied to the role - so you never get marked down for "missing a Situation" on a question that never needed one.
